1Discovering You life coaching for young women

This one on one coaching program covers six essential personal development components: values, beliefs, goals, skills, support, and success.

By completing the Discovering You program you will…

Learn how to make decisions that are in line with your values. So the choices you make allow you to live a life you are proud of, not a life full of regret.

As a young woman it’s common to not fully understand who you are and why you sometimes make the choices that you do. How do you know which choice to make when faced with a big life-altering decision? It’s by knowing your values.

When you know your values, decision making becomes easy, as your values are what's most important to you. Knowing your values can be really handy when it comes to deciding on a particular career, choosing to stay in a relationship, or figuring out what type of place you want to live. Knowing your highest values provides you with direction and gives meaning to your life.

Explore empowering and dis-empowering beliefs. Stop the excuses and telling yourself that you can’t. You can!

Have you ever wanted to apply for a job, ask someone out on a date or try something new but then decided to not follow through because you believed that you were either not good enough, pretty enough, or even smart enough?

Maybe you don’t even bother pursuing certain things because you have automatic negative beliefs. It’s important to identify your core dis-empowering and negative beliefs as they can have harmful consequences on your life.

Challenging your dis-empowering beliefs and replacing these with more empowering beliefs will allow you to understand yourself better whilst creating a healthier and happier life for yourself.

Establish goals that excite and motivate you. Stop wandering through life and take control of your future. You can create the life of your dreams.

Have you ever dreamed of moving overseas? Or maybe you wanted to buy a house or start a business. Unless you have a specific action plan in place your dreams will stay just that.

It’s time to turn your dreams into reality. You really can create a life full of meaning, purpose, and excitement. Take control of how your life turns out. The best bit is you get to choose how your life unfolds and that’s pretty powerful!

Create a skills development plan. Increase your self-confidence, personal growth, and knowledge to become more successful in your chosen (paid or unpaid) career.

Your strengths can be recognized when you know your skills, what you are passionate about, and what activities bring you the most amount of joy. It seems we are at our happiest when we’re using our natural talents and skills to perform something that we are excited about.

In these situations, time somehow ceases to exist, and we are living in the moment – living in the flow. When you know your strengths and can use them often, you are able to have more success in several areas of your life. You will be happier, have higher self-esteem, and are more likely to achieve your goals.

But, we all have things that don’t come naturally to us or that we’re not good at, – and that’s ok! When you’re aware of what your weaknesses are, life can become a whole lot easier. Because weaknesses can hold you back from what you are wanting to achieve. When you can acknowledge your weaknesses, you can either choose to address them and improve or come to the realization that you don’t need to be great at everything.

Take control of who you spend time with. Feel less lonely, isolated, or judged. Choose people who make you laugh and inspire you to be your best.

When was the last time you questioned your friendships? Are you friends with people out of convenience because you grew up with them, they’re your neighbors, or because you went to the same school?

Do the people you surround yourself with challenging you, make you a better person, or make you laugh? Or are you surrounding yourself with people who put you down, pressure you into doing things you’re not comfortable doing, or maybe just bring out the worst in you?

We often put others’ needs before our own and end up spending our time doing things that hold little value to us. The good news is that you’re totally in charge of who you spend your time with if you’re up to the challenge!

Start to view success on your own terms. Build a life you are proud to live and not a life others expect you to live.

Success, what does it mean to you? Too often we are influenced by social media or the perception of others on the meaning of success, but success has no meaning except for what you choose to give it.

It’s time to give success a meaning that is real and right for you, because as a young woman success will take on different meanings at different times of your life and it’s important to re-evaluate every now and then. For example, success to you may have been to just finish high school and complete year 12 so it was over and done with, or maybe it could have been completing year 12 with the highest possible score.

2Discovering You life coaching for mothers

"It's inevitable that you change when you become a mum, and it's during that transformation where most women tend to get 'stuck' or feel lost. We struggle to see our real potential and as a result, we lose sight of our hopes and dreams." Hayley Fualau

What you valued before you started a family has probably changed a lot!

Imagine that you must decide between taking option A or option B – how do you know which one to choose?

By knowing your values. When you know your values, decision making becomes easy as your values are what's most important to you.

Did you know that most people are carrying around many dis-empowering beliefs that sabotage their success every day and they don’t even know it?

Establish goals that excite and motivate you. Stop wandering through life and take control of your future. You can create the life of your dreams.

Have you ever dreamed of having your own business? Or maybe you wanted to buy a house, start a savings plan, or start studying?. Unless you have a specific action plan in place your dreams will stay just that.

It’s time to turn your dreams into reality. You really can create a life full of meaning, purpose, and excitement. Take control of how your life turns out. The best bit is you get to choose how your life unfolds and that’s pretty powerful!

Having goals is a critical part of living a successful life. Your goals should excite, motivate, challenge, and inspire you to learn and grow. Goals are a crucial step in turning your dreams into a reality.

When you take the time to explore your goals, you’re able to easily decide what you want to achieve in your life, separate what’s important from what’s not, all while building your self-confidence on the achievement of your goals.

Create a skills development plan. Increase your self-confidence, personal growth, and knowledge to become more successful in your chosen (paid or unpaid) career.

But, you don’t have to be good at everything! If you are not interested in playing sports, then it doesn’t matter If you’re not the fit, sporty athletic type.

Your weaknesses can hold you back from what you are wanting to achieve. When you can acknowledge your weaknesses, you can either choose to address them and improve or come to the realization that you don’t need to excel in ‘athletics’ or ‘baking’ for example.

Take control of who you spend time with. Feel less lonely, isolated, or judged. Choose people who make you laugh and inspire you to be your best.

It’s common for our friendships to change once we become mothers, it's easy to become derailed if you are not surrounding yourself with a great support network.

Your support network consists of people who make you laugh, make you think, challenge you and inspire you, which all contributes to your success.

We only have a limited amount of precious time each day, so we should only invest our time in people who help us to grow and get us closer to our dreams, but quite often this is not the case.

The good news is that you’re totally in charge of who you spend your time with if you’re up to the challenge!

Start to view success on your own terms. Build a life you are proud to live and not a life others expect you to live.

Personal success and happiness ultimately come from enhanced self-awareness, but too often we are easily influenced by social media or the perception of others on the meaning of success, but success has no meaning except for what you choose to give it.

It’s time to give success a meaning that is real and right for you because as a mother success will take on different meanings at different times of your life and it’s important to re-valuate every now and then. For example, success to you may have been to just finish a hot cup of coffee today! Or it may be too upskill and look at finding meaningful employment.
